The Imperial Palace is opened to the public only twice a year, on the Emperor’s birthday and on New Year’s (Jan 2). Don’t miss this opportunity to see members of the Imperial family in person. Our next stop will be Tokyo’s most recognized icon: the Tokyo Tower. From its 360’ observatory you can look out over Tokyo’s vast metropolis. Our last stop is the Meiji Jingu, a Shinto shrine dedicated to Emperor Meiji that ruled Japan from 1867 to 1912. This tour is not recommended for young children due to the large crowd expected.
