How do I reserve a tee time?

Players are required to check in as a group 30 minutes prior to their tee time. This is necessary to assure full utilization of the golf course and keep play moving and on time. Players who show up late will forfeit their tee time and be placed on the bottom of the waiting list if they still wish to play.

Weekday tee times may be reserved two weeks in advance by authorized patrons. Call or stop by the Pro Shop. Weekend tee times require players to complete a Tee Time Request form from the Pro Shop. The request must be completed before 9 a.m. the Tuesday prior to the weekend. A tee time reservation draw will be conducted on Tuesday and ready for checking after noon at the Pro Shop.

Tee times for weekends from December through March are not required, as a "shotgun start" will commence every Saturday and Sunday. Check in at 8 a.m. for the 9 a.m. event. Please call the Pro Shop ahead of time to get your name on the list. The first 144 players to sign up will play, and others will be placed on a waiting list.

SOFA-sponsored players have priority over base employees and local nationals. SOFA-sponsored players can sign up for open play and will be given space on a first-come, first-served basis.

Are children welcome on the course?

Children under the age of 18 may play golf Apr-Nov after 3 p.m. and from Dec-Mar after 2 p.m. They must have completed the Atsugi Junior Golf Clinic or a similar USGA program. Children will play from the 150-yard marker and must pick up after a score of 9 or double par on any hole to include putting. If you have any questions on this please see the General Manager.

Parents wishing to play with their children earlier than the established times will require permission from the General Manager. The child must understand safety issues pertaining to golf, demonstrate the ability to keep the pace of play and understand golf etiquette. To play a round of golf without a parent/guardian present, kids must be at least 10 years old, have approval from the General Manager and be able to keep pace with the golfers in the group ahead.

Parents, call the Pro Shop ahead of the day you want your child to play (with or without you) to secure a time. Inform the shop that you have a child playing golf and confirm that he/she has completed the Atsugi Junior Golf Clinic.

Non-playing patrons under the age of 18 are not permitted to ride or walk on the course. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

By what time must rental clubs and golf carts be returned?
